Our population is growing older and keeping their
teeth longer than ever before. Certain conditions can occur in seniors
that would not normally be found in younger individuals and that can
affect the health of their teeth, as well as their overall physical
well being.

medical and dental health, Dentist must have a good understanding of
patient management and the importance of dentistry in total patient
care. We must work as part of a patient management team including the
primary physician, medical specialists, and dental specialists.
Many new and exciting treatment alternatives have
been developed in dentistry over the years that can help seniors
restore their teeth to a much more functional, healthy and youthful
appearance.
